Description from the author:
An endless stream of cars and a whole crowd of passers-by constantly bustling through the forest of houses and the gloss of shops - this is the metropolis. This is a place where it does not matter individually. A metropolis is a single organism that leaves no chance for individuality. And we create all this ourselves.
We are a society. But what unites us? Some kind of morality? Or a set of factors that have formed traditions for people living in the same territory? No, more often than not, all we want is movement and a hectic life in a whirlpool of our own kind. We work where we do not like to get those things that we do not really need.
We live in stress and fear. In these endless races for ghostly values, our inner light is gradually fading. Grey mass. But why do we - you and I become this gray mass? Why is the light of a megalopolis not people, but things? It is a gloss from shops and cars, and not a radiant radiance from happy smiles.
But you know, a little indifference to each other, love, kindness and sincere friendship, are able to re-ignite this bright and real light of our megacities. We must not be indifferent to each other. We need to learn to feel the warmth from other people again. And you need to start with yourself.
