Ukrainian painter.
Grigory Yemelyanovich Khizhnyak was born in 1899.
In the early 1920s. studied at the Kiev Art Institute. A. Exter and A. Bogomazov were his teachers.
He worked in the field of easel painting. Master of portrait, still life and landscape.
