The cape was written under the influence of the legend about proud beauties who preferred death to staying in a harem and decided to throw themselves from the cape into the sea. They came to the cliff of the cape, tied up with braids, so that no one dared to step back, frightened by the abyss. The name of the first girl who jumped from the cliff was Kaliakra, it was in her honor that the whole cape was named.
