Description from the author:
The painting was created after a trip to the Sumy region, Trostyanets. There is a cascade of different lakes, one of them is shown here. It was winter, cold, and it was snowing. The lake was slowly covered with ice. And only coniferous trees on the other side enlivened the landscape with their dark green.
