The main goal of my work is to create a feeling, sensation, maybe even a premonition. The feeling of the sea, light, snow... The feeling of being in a world with huge expanses of turquoise and blue water or white snow-covered wastelands. A feeling of silence, calm and contemplation...
Color, texture, fluidity, shimmer are the tools with which I try to express the beauty of the world and bring its harmony into the interior.
My works are not paintings that hang in a gallery where you move from one to the next, trying to guess what the artist meant. I want my painting to become the place where your gaze will stop, and your thoughts will run away into the distance, into thoughtlessness and timelessness, as they run away when you look out the window at the snow or the sea...
I started drawing because I couldn’t stop drawing. My journey began with the desire to paint a picture that I would like. And I admit, at this stage my life became almost a hermit. For some time, the whole world completely fell out of focus for me... I studied, experimented with materials, drew, watched other artists who paint in modern techniques and listened to myself.
