Igor Tokaruk born in 1954.
Graduated from the ivano-Frankivsk state pedagogical institute. Member of National Union of artists of Ukraine from 1990, the chairman of goverment of Ivano-Frankivsk regional organization of the National Ukraine artist's union. Winner of the J. Lukavetsky Regional Prize in the field of fine arts (2005).
Honored Artist of Ukraine (2009).
Participant of regional, allukrainian and international exhibitions. Works are kept in museums and private collections of Ukraine, USA, Canada, Germany, Austria, England, France, Italy, Australia and others.
His works always noticeable in show-rooms or private apartments. To them in he inherent high culture of implementation, use of picturesgure invoice, original color. Igor Tokaruk has artworks on religious, folklore reasons, portraits, landscapes, abstract compositions. In his works the elements of surrealism appear more expressly. For today he is one of the most interesting Ivano-Frankivsk painters of the European level.
