Description from the author:
Lovely girl in a red dance skirt. Her face is lifted up and her eyes are closed in a dreamy grimace, which is light and peaceful. It hangs, as it were, in the air against the background of tall buildings, which is interpreted by the analogy of the meditative state of purity of mind for the cosmic union with the Divine and is expressed in height above the perishable vanity. Skyscrapers just determine the context of modernity of consumerism, brightness, contrast, going beyond orthodoxy, which at the moment is considered to be just a normal state of its positioning among the masses. It is the pieces of the skirt, which, like leaves of a rose gently crumbling, pick up the theme of belonging to this world, in which freedom is interpreted, since in a different mode of being this question may not arise at all for the lack of many factors that give rise to our very existence to understand how in a free state and in the constrained, which motivates to seek an answer to the acute question of freedom. So, these pieces showered with rose petals release, lighten, clean slowly, but consciously and impressively ...
So, having risen to a certain level of tranquility that frees, the background of the houses under the girl is a measure or unit of reference, and the tops of these skyscrapers are reminiscent of Gothic temples with elongated rooftops of mystical antiquity and natural mystery, sending to the other side or keeping on the marginality of two human worlds. The girl herself is made in a plaster bas-relief, which distinguishes her from the framework of two-dimensional graphics, but at the same time in terms of tonality and style, she fits into the overall plot of the picture. And finally, the black background of the picture represents the depth without borders, which subconsciously reveals the declared freedom at the mental level. The painting was exhibited at the Odessa Art Museum as part of an exhibition of contemporary art.
